I’m a doctoral candidate in East-West Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, where my dissertation research focuses how people use mindfulness meditation and Buddhist psychology and philosophy to recover from bipolar disorder.

I’m also an LPC intern in private practice at Brilliancy Counseling in Portland, OR, where I counsel individuals, couples, adolescents and families using the Hakomi Method of mindfulness-centered somatic psychotherapy. I specialize in mindfulness, life transitions, spiritual integration, and helping people recover from bipolar disorder.

My Master’s degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy is from Naropa University in Boulder, CO, where I also trained and certified as a Mindfulness Instructor. I have practiced mindfulness meditation since 2004, including several intensive retreats.
